can you eat before taking the Glucola test?

i have an appointment 2:30 wednesday and im supposed to drink the glucola drink 45 minutes before arriving to the doctor. I was wondering if you can eat before taking it. i tried calling them to ask but they had me on hold forever!

it all depends on the blood analysis person. some places say no and some places say yes. i would advise not eating if you dont know cuz it would suck having to go there and then go back. but they usually have you not eat because it can change the results of the blood test. and if it comes out too high then youll have to go back for the three hour one.
