im a graphic design major and can you design booklets and covers to game cases
like halo and worl of warcraft not desgning the game but the covers on cases and things like that
 
Yes, Most of those are designed as a flat graphic, showing all 6 sides and then when cut and glued to the shape of a box, it becomes a 3D item.
 
Yes. They're called jewel case liners or just liners. You can also do the inserts, the disk labels -- the whole package. A LOT of graphic arts applications like Adobe Illustrator actually come with templates that you can use.
