Can you do conference calls (group calls) with Skype Mobile?

I have Skype Moble on my Verizon Ally 3G phone with unlimited internet access. I recently started using Skype, and I was wondering if its possible to do conference (group) calls on the phone? If so how?

I was put into a group chat on my phone, but i would only type int he chat. they said they were talking about loud too, but I couldnt hear anything.

So, is it possible to turn a group texting chat into a group call (for me to be able to speak and hear as well?) If so, how?
