can you diagnose fresh water fish behavior?

I clean my tanks once a week by 25% for three weeks then 50% for one week. I have 5 Gorami's in a 30 gal. tank along with one 7 inch pleco.the Gorami's are 3-5 inches long. although cleaning can upset the fish temporarily I think this is normal, but I went out of town for 4 days and had someone feed my fish and as soon as I walked in the door I heard them splashing all over and even hitting the side of the tank. Now my fish still seem all traumatized and do not seem anxious to eat like usual. what do you think?
 
Do they have any visual signs of ick or velvet? I would definitely do a 25% water change at least right away!! I would keep a very watchful eye on them! Hope I helped!
 
maybe your friend tapped on the glass or if your friend did what my friend did (over fed) but it could just be that after 4 days their a little jump because there is movement in the house again
