Can you copy canvas art to canvas?

I have some canvasses that I would like to sell or give away but I would like to keep a copy of them myself. I know you can do this through printers with photos to canvas but would that work with a photo of a canvas picture to canvas. Or should the small ones be scanned and the scan given to the printer? but then what about the ones that are too big to scan? How good do the photos have to be, how big? all that kind of stuff. The printers I have spoken to so far seem just to go um errr.... and I need to know by tomorrow for something. Thank you
