I am writing a story, and I would need to know how this is actually done ( I am not much of a camper). I am trying to just be as detailed as possible. So, I thought about my character holding a metal pole with the can attached, but then I thought the pole would heat up. I thought about trying having two metal poles with small v-shaped ends so that a metal pole can be placed on top of them, with the can in the metal (like a chicken or something).
Can you cooked canned foods in the can on an open flame?
