Can you cook meat/bread in a microwave?

I was attempting to cook today, and I was wondering if you could pop the bread dough in the microwave and cook it, along with marinating and grilling the steak in the microwave as well. Is it possible?

Microwaves don't allow for the yeast to activate properly. You would end up with a doughy mass.

Yes, you can cook meat in a microwave, but you will have to use items like marinating and sauces to color the steak as most microwaves do not brown meat.

I recently bought a griller for microwaves. It has a surface to brown meat, though it still doesn't look like meat cooked by other means. It does allow for the meat to be a little more tender. I still use sauces to make the meat look better. I actually prefer the other methods for cooking meat, but when I'm in a hurry it is convenient.

Anything is possible but i sure wouldn't do it. I can't imagine baking bread in a microwave and meat cooked in one is just not tasty and tender, it is grey and tough.

you cant beak bread in the microwave.

you can cook meat in a microwave. But it wont be "grilling" it will be "microwaving" I have never enjoyed meats or poultry cooked in a microwave. They always seem to come out rubbery and unsatisfying. But many people use a microwave. So its up to the persons tastes who is making the recipe.

steak yes, bread no.
the steak will cook, but it won't brown unless you use a browning plate.
I have yet to meet the person who can bake bread in a microwave.

No way Jose.
The microwave should be used for reheating/defrosting only.
There are only a few very special recipes that allow you to cook with a microwave. I have my mom's old microwave cookbook.
But the best thaing she made in it was meat loaf and stuffed bell peppers.
If you are attempting to cook, then cook.
Microwaving is not cooking.
You cannot 'grill' steak in the microwave, that is like saying you want to boil in your toaster!

Bread needs to be baked
Steak needs to be seared on the barbecue grill or under a broiler.
