I found some recipes for peppermint schnapps hot chocolate but they are all basically "make hot chocolate and then put peppermint schnapps in your mug before you pour it in."
I'd rather have it easier for my guests so they can just ladle the drink into a mug. I was planning on making the hot chocolate in the crock pot and just letting it simmer on low. Can I add the peppermint schnapps in right before the party, or will that ruin something?
