I have a Dell Latitude D531 that is running Ubuntu 10.10 (linux). Until I can go get a wireless router, the only internet access I have at the moment is through a Motorola surfboard sb5101 cable modem.
Is there any way I can configure this modem to run on my laptop?
lol maybe I needed to be a little more clear....when I plug the ethernet cord into the laptop, it can't configure an IP address.
