What makes me a person I am today?why am I like this?sometimes many of us have these type of questions. I thought about this many times. We are getting many influencies while we are growing up. These Influencies that affect us are making changes in our personality every day.The people that get to know us best are our parents. They are the people we see the most and have known for the longest.That is why they have the greatest influence in our life. Besides our parents, there are other influences that we are facing. Family history , ethnity and home country can have an affect on our personality.
In the first place, its important to know where we come from.our family history has the most affect on our personality.As from my example, I don’t know much about my family history. Originaly I come from Georgia . I was born there but my family used to live in a different place couple of centuries ago.By mantioning family I mean my family name.they used to live in Armenia.But after Armenian Genocide have taken place in 1917 most of the Armenian population where forced to live the country and find a shelters in other countrys.For my family Georgia became a new home. Also, another important thing is my family name itself.Mkrtichian- "mkrtich" means godfather and "ian" is an ending for an Armenian last name.as i heard this name belongs to nobles.even if is hard to pronounce my last name i can be proud of having a name belonging to nobility.
Ethnity is another important reason that makes us, us.there are more than 6.5 billion people in the world today and hundreds of ethnicities. All of them have different societies,cultures and traditions. i belong to caucasians.being caucasian affects me culturaly.my father is Armenian and mother is Georgian. i am both.i am between these two cultures. first of all, difference between cultures is expressed in appearance.the way we look makes us different from each other. every culture has its proper face features,maners which makes us all unique.the features that i have makes me unique in my way.for example, back home nobody said i looked like Armenian,everybody thought i was Georgian and some thought i was Russian or Ukranian.second, difference between cultures is shown in behaviour. the way people act makes them unique.
home country is a place where all the influence comes from.wether its family or culture.place where we were born affects our personalities in many ways.on way is religion.my father is gregorian but i am christian orthodox.as i was born in Georgia i was christened in Georgian way.Gerogia is very religion country and no matter where i am,i'm keeping the rules.another thing is traditions.every country has its tradition.if you are in foreign country you keep your traditions.i was educated by Georgian traditions and even in america i keep them all and it differce me from others.
in conclusion, all we are exceptional.our family background,ethnic group and country of birth makes us different from each other.this three reasons influence us and the way we were raised makes us persons we are know. my family, ethnic and home county had an influence on forming my personality and from childhood i was working on myself to become a better person and be able to do what i need and want to do.i do continue changing and by collecting all this efforts i am who i am now and i'm unique.
