Can you buy a blackberry bold 900 without the data plan? If so how can I do this?

Not to be rude or anything but whats the point of a blackberry without the internet. The blackberry is all about email im and internet. If you don't want to pay for the internet don't get a smartphone. Get a messaging phone like a samsung impression, lg xenon, etc.
 
I want to get the refurbished or non-refurbished blackberry bold without the data plan. I have AT&T. Does anyone know whether this is possible and if so, how to do it?

No comments on how this would be stupid or anything I am just looking for an answer
