I was thinking of buying one, if it exists, and building it, I think that would be awesome, since an actual one from '57 is so expensive. I was thinking of putting my own engine in, maybe a vortec 350 from the junkyard. I have one in my truck and it'd be pretty fast in that car. So do they make replica kits for this car? Thanks for any help!
And by the way, how much would a replica kit of this car cost? Without the engine and transmission?

Yes, they call them "Hot Wheels" and they run a dollar or two. LOL!!!

Just buy a '55 and cut out some cardboard wings and tape them on. No one will know the difference.

Good Luck!

Like the dude said aboue $15,000 for a fiber glass kit basically a plastic shell go kart, Search ebay for a rusted hulk, it will run you thousands less, then sandblast and prime it, Year one sells billions of parts needed for the restoration. I'd start checking ebay if I where you

yes you sure can buy the 57 Chevy as a kit car
www.fresemotorcars.com/ this is one site that offers them, here they are $15 000 plus about $800 for crating and shipping
This is a fairly common and popular kit car and because of this you can find my places that offer it simply through google
