My dad is in the military and we might be moving overseas to Korea or somewhere from the U.S. I'm wondering if there is any way I can bring my pet betta with me like maybe on the plane?

Sure but what you will need to do is fill the bag you are carrying it in with oxygen instead of just air. This will insure a good oxygen supply for the entire trip. Also you want to make sure that it is in a pressure controlled area of the plane. I'm not sure but you may be able to pack it in your carry on bag, but if not and it is going to have to be checked like a dog or cat, then you will want to put it in a small cooler as well, so that temperature will be maintained. This is how fish are shipped all over the world from breeders and collectors to the distributors.

Depends on the airline and customs. US customs may not let you through and Korea may or may not let you in with ornamental fish. That would also be a very long flight so the fish itself may or may not survive the stress of moving.

It would be better to rehome your fish in the US and get another fish when you get to Korea.
