I was completely outraged that Noura Jackson was found guilty of second degree murder! There was absolutely no scientic evidence linking her to the crime. So Basically the jury set aside the fact that not only was her DNA not at the crime scene, but a third party was bleeding in the victim's bedroom during the murder! And they didn't think that somebody else's blood being found at the crime scene established reasonable doubt??? If I was on that jury no matter what her actions were after the crime, no matter how suspicious, I can't look passed the fact that not only was her DNA not at the crime scene but they found DNA evidence of a third party present during the murder. I would have found her Not Guilty.
oh the victim was her mother, and they found a bloody fingerprint on the footboard of the bed and refused to collect the evidence, and there was hair found in both of the victims' clenched fist and they didn't test that either even though noura jackson consented for them to collect blood, hair, and saliva.
