Can you believe Circuit City is going out of business?

To me, this feels like the largest hit that any franchise has taken in this economy. I mean, I bought stuff from Circuit City, regularly, and I know that sounds dumb but...wow. Still...can't wait for those amazing deals on 42" Plasmas, and hopefully iPods.

So are you surprised? My local Circuit City kinda sucked anyway, but how 'bout yours? And how do you think Best Buy will fare from this news? Will there be anyone to truly challenge them now?
