I am possibly looking at a military discharge for depression, medical separation as far as i know. i know i do not get the gi bill, don't expect it since i did not spend enough time nor ever reallyd o anything. i would like to apply for stafford loans, is there any reason i would be denied? i have no drug charges or anything, just possibly a DUI (charged not convicted) and being released under depression. The military wasn't for me and i want to pick up my life and get it rolling in a positive direction.
can you be denied federal financial aid for medical/psych/military discharge?
