me an my friends decided it would be a smart idea to smoke marijuana in tacobell parking lot and a police officer pulled up and asked us what we were doing sitting in the back of the parking lot then smelled the weed and arrested the driver and walked to the back of the car told me to put my hands on the dash board he then walks back to the car and says "trying to get rid of evidence i see" and picked up an empty dime bag off the ground and said i put it there when he wasnt looking even though my hands never left the dashboard, he then asked for my id and i gave it to him he told me to follow him back to the station driving my friends car and when my friend came out of the station he sent my friend out with my id and a littering ticket. i now have a court date in 2 days for it i was wondering if i could ask the judge to watch the officers in car camera video because it was directly pointed at where i was sitting in the car showing my hands on the dash board the whole time proving that i didnt litter because i didnt he just couldnt give me a ticket for anything else and he just wanted to give me a ticket for anything he could think of, and side not the officer took my licesnce and then told me to follow him, im on a provisional and there were 2 othere people in the car and he then decided he was going to speed doing 50 in a 35 when i didnt know how to get to the police station so i had to speed to follow him, so he made me break 2 other laws, (driving without a liscense on me and driving with to many people in the car) he didnt make me speed but i had to because if not how was i gonna find the station....
btw this happened in jersey and court is in jersey and this is yahoo answers not a highschool test.....
no, i have no other charges against me i was in the passenger seat and the cop pulled up diagonally to where the front of his car was facing the window of the car i was in the windows aren't tinted so last time i checked it wouldn't need xray vision to see my hands on the dash from 5 feet away, and when would you recommend i asked to see the video this happen on tuesday of last week and i didn't even know i was getting a ticket until my friend came out of the police station
