Can we install medical softwares that run on Windows mobile 3 or 5 on WM6.1?

i m planning to buy a sony ericsson X1, or a HTC touch pro, wich run Windows Mobile 6 and its very important to me to know if i could or not run on it my pocket pc medical softwares!??
