im not in the army yet but i plan on taking the steps to be a warrant officer ,and if im deployed i want to be able to bring my M1911 colt 45 and use it as my side arm in place of the m9 , And if i can would i be abel to get ammo for that gun from the armory or would i have to buy it myself from them or a gun store?
can warrant officers bring their own side arm in place of army issue?
