Can Villains Have Sidekicks?

Can villains have best friends? Someone they can trust? Or is that not "evil" enough to pass for a villain? What do you think?
 
Even villains should have their good points, so yes, they can. The question isn't whether or not they can have them as much as it is making your sidekicks non-cliched. :)
