I know this seems like a stupid question with all the new commercials out, but I just have to know. My friend just got a DROID phone on Verizon wireless. While I was talking to him on it I remembered that stupid commercial and I asked him to try surfing the web with me on speakerphone. He did, and it worked?! ( I am sure he wasn't lying) I asked him if he was on his home wifi network and he said he didn't ever setup wifi, so I assume he couldn't have been on it (unless maybe he has an unsecured network and DROIDs just connect to everything you walk past, but he doesn't). Does this mean that in some areas it is possible? He lives in Phoenix, AZ.
