I have a couple of normal sized stereo speakers and when I put them near my old t.v (as close as 6 inches) it'll temporarily change the t.v.'s color, so I know these speakers are unshielded. What I'd like to know is, if these speakers can do this to my old t.v., could the magnetic field possibly damage or scramble any other of my electronics? I do not have a lot of space, so I am considering putting a fairly expensive air purifier right next to one of these speakers and I don't know if by doing this, I will be breaking the air purifier. It's a hepa type of purifier by the way, not the ionic kind. Also, could these destroy blank cd's or dvd's as well?
Can unshielded speakers damage or scramble other electronics?
