Can uk ford dealers, inport other ford models from the usa to the uk ?.?

is it at all possible to buy an american model (ford of course) and have it inported/delivered to a uk ford dealer...

i know it might be cheaper to go and buy one, and have it inported myself, but this is to end a querry me and my mate had in a convosation...that all..
