im tryna work out a puzzle for me sister on that professor layton game can u try and solve it? :
theres a brother and sister
brother says if i tuk away 2 years from my age
and give them to u u wud b twice my age
sister says well y dont u just give me 1 more on top of that and ill b three times ur age
how old are the brother and sister?

i put this question on here because im rubbish at maths. durrrh. so why wud i b able to work all that crap out.

Let the boy's age be B and the grl's age G
2(B-2) = G+2
3B=G+3

And do the math
 
They are both 6.

boy - 6-2=4
girl - 6+2=8
twice his age

Take one more from boy
boy - 4-1=3
girl - 8+1=9
