can u upload data from a Samsung PL50 to a laptop on windows vista with only a USB...

...Data cable? I've just brought a second hand samsung PL50 from ebay and it came without its manual, and i've noticed on youtube that a disk comes with each camera, but i don't have a disk
So my question Is, what's the disk for & would i be able to transfer data from camera to my laptop without the disk but by using a USB Data cable?

Please Help!
