can u get into a uc if you got a d one semester for an ap u.s history class.?

i am a junior and my major will not revolve around history. first semester was a C and second was a D.

i know a girl who literally failed a physic's hon course and got into UC Santa Cruz


but to be perfectly honestly "higher" UC's like Berkeley and UCLA are probably out of your league (and mine) at the moment.

i have the same problem you had and got a d fist semester geometry but i took a summer replacement class for geometry first semester and i have an a in it now, so check with your school if you can take summer school with a fee most likely and replace your grade my summer school was just two weeks 8-1

It depends on your GPA and what UC you want to go to. If you got a D in just that class but every other class you have a A or B then you totally can. I really sucked in math during high school and got C's all the time. But I did really well in almost all my other classes and I got accepted to UCLA. The best way to find out if you should apply to a UC is go on their web site and look at their requirements for undergrad students. U might not get into Harvard, but I bet you can get into other UC.
