can u feed fish human food ? what kind ?

i have tropical fish and i have heard u can feed them salads and fruit and stuff ,can they eat raw potatoes? i heard u can .
what stuff is good for them ?

Depends on what kind of fish you have. Silver dollars love romaine lettuce. Angelfish love any kind of beef that is chopped fine.My Plecoes will eat green beans or peas . You can always see what your fish will eat just put something in and see if they like it . If after 10 minutes or so nobody shows interest just remove it.
 
You can feed them zucchini, oranges, cucumber, romaine lettuce, and peas, that I know of. Had a betta fish that loved salmon as a treat lmao. Although, what types of fish do you have? Some fish won't eat veggies that you give them. If you have livebearers or tetras, you will probably find that they like the zucchini best.
