can u download music of limewire put into music and sync of window media playa

or do ya need itunes ? im getting a ipod nano deliverd and i know you can get music of limewire put them into your music file and put the file into itunes and sync it from there but i dont want to download itunes if i dont need to so cant u sync them from windows media player?
 
No,only iTunes detects the device the way it should be and allows you to use it unlike windows where it detects it but is unable to be used.
