Can TOO MUCH baby swing hurt the baby?

My son LOVES the swing and sleeps very soundly in it. As soon as I go to put him in bed he wakes up.
My husband is driving me NUTS because he is so paranoid that if I leave my son in the swing for too long his blood wont circulate properly and all kinds of other things.
Has anyone ever heard of such a thing happening? Please help! I need to ease his mind so he will leave me alone about it lol
 
i have never heard of too much swing can hurt the baby before but it would be a good habit to break sooner or later because he'll get into the habit of falling asleep while being rocked in the swing and then that will be his only way of falling asleep but ive never heard of a swing hurting a child
