Person 1(69yrs old) opens a bank account 6 years ago in a different state from where he resides now. when he opened that bank account he added someone else to have access to the account that is person 2(48yrs old) who also happens to be his son. person 1 is legally married and has 3 children all under ten years of age. person 1 received SSI and doest work anymore his three children also receive SSI. a few months back person 1 suffered a stroke and his wife and three children have been having trouble monetary wise
(may i remind you person 1 is still in the hospital half paralized and still recovering)
Now person 2 has kept the money from the wife who needs to pay bills ,insurance,extra money for personal utilities like toilet paper etc. in a few days everything will be disconnected because those bills have not been payed for the whole reason person 2 has not given person 1's wife money to pay the bills.
person 1's wife does not have access to the account and does not work. person 2 has also kept mail from reaching person 1's wife house since he has the key to the mail box. now my question is if person 2 can go to jail for witholding money that the government sends those three SSI recipents?
and also can he can go to jail if he keeps mail from other people?
