S Sarah Guest Oct 20, 2008 #2 Please do NOT use that tank for your Betta. It will live, but not be very happy. Betta's need at least 2.5 gallons of heated, and filtered water. You can go out and buy one at Petsmart for about $15-$20. Your Betta will be much happier.
