medical history, no medical care? I am 68 years old. My life insurance agent called and said they had approved my life insurance's application and the deal was that their underwriters said that I have no personal doctors, no medical history in the United States whatsoever. My life insurance also said the new price of the insurance was going to be $152.78 per month, instead of $91.00.

So I asked my life insurance agent why did it change from $91.00 monthly to $152.78?

My life insurance said: "Well, your medical exam was okay. But we have no way of checking any previous medical history whatsoever. Basically, I mean, even though is 10 years ago. Triple As wants to know that the person was at least check out by a doctor at some time in their life. Just to check up even, but there was none. They would not give the best of health rating, even though the lab work was okay. And that's the reason for the price changed. You have no history....sort of like, well, the closest thing I can compare it to,um, the credit rating. So you can't get the best interest rate for a car or a home. It's kind of like that. None that we could check. I mean if you had an or you know anything in your lifetime, we would like to know about it. And we can't. We don't have any way of checking that. You had no medical care, but we can still offer you a policy."

My life insurance also said: "See, what we do is issue a guaranty based on you having had medical care in the past. You never had a check up or anything, which is good. I'm sure your health is good. But our records, our situation has to be based on actual confirmation, and there isn't any that we had. Like you said you're not been sick. You're not seen a doctor and that we're able to offer you a policy, but it is not in my favor."

Can the life insurance increase my change my premium monthly of $91.00 based on I have no medical history, even though I have passed the medical exam and considered healthy after medical exam? I thought life insurance charges you more when you are not healthy after a medical exam. Please help.
