Can these fish which i currently have in my 125 litre tank live alongside a betta?

hi there, looking for a little bit of advice. i currently have a well set up 125 litre tank with 2 angel fish, 3 swordtails, 2 clown loaches, a platy and around 10 neons. i am looking to add a few mollies and maybe guppies to this list. Would a siemese fighter be compatable amoungst this lot?
 
the fighter will fight with other fish of the same kind or similar size. avoid putting him in with other fish that are fin nippers. they might go after his fins.
 
If the fish are smaller than the beta fish then you can't put the beta in the tank because the bete fish will it the little fish.
 
I am not sure about those kinds of fish but I had 4 gold fish in the time my sister had 1 betta. I think this may take some serious research.

I tried doing a little and this is what one thing said (written in first person):

"If you keep me in a community aquarium with other fish, and they pick on me, it may make me sick. I may stop eating or stay in a corner at the surface and not move. If that is the case, or if my fins look torn (from other fishes nipping them), I should be removed and kept in a jar of my own."
 
What I know; Betta's tend to not get along with other Gouramis. Your other fish aren't Gouramis.

What I think; Next I would consider the temperaments of your other fish. If they are all community fish then I would guess that they would get along with your Betta.

Do all of the species prefer the same water conditions; brackish vs fresh heated vs cold. And tank size. You should have one gallon per 3 inches of fish. Also consider the fish's niche. If all of your fish are hanging out near the bottom of the tank then the gallon per 3 inch rule doesn't apply. To make the most of your tank space, get some fish that prefer to stay at the bottom, some that like to hang out in the middle, and some that prefer to swim near the top of the water column.

To improve the chances for your fish to live in harmony, offer plenty of hiding spaces and don't forget to feed them.
 
A Betta would become a victim in that tank - the Angelfish would kill it. The mollies would be a bad move - they can be bullies and may well come to blows with the Angels.

Your tank is very well stocked and you shouldn't be pondering more fish. The Clown Loaches will eventually need 250-350 litres or larger, and are better in groups of 5 or more. As your Angels mature there's a high chance they may turn on the Neons - they eat Neons in the wild.
 
From what I have heard siemese fighters usually eat fish that are less of a threat. You should google it though I know that there are websites dedicated to these sort of things.
 
No, it would get torn to pieces by the Angels, Swords, platy and if you get them mollies. Male guppies it could possibly attack and they don't like open spaces and a decent current.

They can be a community fish, but not in a tank with mid table to surface cichlids of a semi aggressive nature.

Most of the time it's the Siamese Fighter on the receiving end of aggro in a community set up. They can't swim for toffee and those huge fins are an easy target.
 
Yes, Betta's only attack their own kind, but their as nice as can be to any other type of fish.
