can the shot the doctor gives you to stop pre term labor hurt the baby?

If it was going to hurt tr baby the doctor would not give it to you.

No I had to have it at 33 weeks. I hated the shot, it made me feel like I had drank a whole pot of coffee. I felt sooo jittery and my blood pressure went way up and I could feel my blood pulsating. It wasnt fun but it kept my baby in

well everything has side effects. so theres no way it doesnt do ANYTHING to the baby every doctor says the meds you take in do the same thing to the baby as it does to you and that it could do more to the baby. so what are the side effects?
