I just purchased what appeared to be the only matching rear wheel cylinders which say they are for a 1950-73 chevy/gmc pickup truck (I have a gmc 65 pickup) and I need to replace the rear wheel cylinders. The OEM I have are the size of one of the new ones I got shipped in from JEGS. My right wheel rear cylinder is slightly larger in diameter and has a slightly larger seal on both ends (but it is the exact same nut line up and length of the other cylinder) and fits in the brakedrum the same. I called Jegs and they told me that the manufacturer says both of the rear cylinders I ordered are matching pair. Is it wrong to have 2 rear wheel cylinders that are slightly different in size yet the manufacturer calls them a matching pair?Is this safe?is this dangerous? wheel the brakeline pressure be the same in both ? Can both be the same diameter on the inside but different on the outside?Bigger seals on one cylinder vs the other make a difference?
