I have a Standard Definition Television and both a PS3 and Xbox 360. The Xbox 360 component/Regular AV cables have a setting of "HDTV" and "TV." When placed on just "TV" that component cable allows them to work on my SD TV, and it looks a lot clearer, the colors are better. Things like that. And I was thinking of getting the Component AV cable for the PS3 to get the sharpness and everything on it up as well, but I'm honestly unsure whether or not it even works like that. If so, please let me know.
