I was riding my dirt bike down the street (a rural road) the other day and one of our neighbor called the cops to complain. The cop said if he got another complaint he would write a summons to court and impound the bike. Does he have the right to do this even if he doesn't see me do anything? I'm not breaking any laws, as I only ride on the road for less than the 1000 ft. allowed for dirt bikes.
Can the police impound a dirt bike because of a noise complaint from a neighbor?
