Can the pearl receive video messages?

I just got my pearl about a week ago. I've received picture mail but I have some friends with video phones that have tried to send me some clips only for it to show up blank. I know it can watch videos so I would assume I could view a video someone sent me, but dont know if I need to download something specific or not. Sorry if this has been answered before.
 
it should be playable in the media player.. kinda dependent on the format, I've moved my old 3gp files from my old Nokia file to the BB, and they playes fine
 
Okay so where do I go to save them? There is no option for me to do anything with the video messages I receive. It just shows a blank page. Wish I could just play them from the mms menu.
 
no, the current OS does not allow video messages to be sent or received. it will either come through as blank, or as a animated .gif and .wav sound attachment. tmobile does this for all non-video messaging phones.
 
True. most phones trunecate their videos as well to 11 seconds. Format is very important as well, esp for blackberries. Hopefully in the future well see that option available.
