When we signed up on the lease, our landlord was the sister of the owner of the house. The only signature on the lease for landlord is the owners sister, and now that some damage has occurred in the house, the owner of the house is taking us to court with the tenancy board, and claiming herself to be the landlord. Can she do that?
Can the owner of the house sue in Tenant-Landlord Court?
