Can the opening theme from LoZ: Wind Waker be played on an english pendant ocarina?

i can play those songs on the keyboard,clarinet, xylophone, and guitar, and i heard a guy try to play a couple of them on the steel drums, so i guess, it couldnt hurt to try :)

I really want to get a quality ocarina for cheap, but all the good ones are anywhere from $100 to $1500, so I figured I'd buy an english pendant, seeing as those are cheap and a lot of them have awesome sound quality.
I also want to know if you can play:

Zelda's Lullaby
Saria's Song
Song of Storms
or any other little song from Zelda.

PS: Yeah, I know I'm a nerd. ;P
