Can the military or air force help somenone with immigration?

If my husband is in the US airforce, and I live in South africa, but Im currently immigrating to the US, to be with him, (he is american), can the air force help in any way to speed up the process, or arent there any special things they can do to help us?
No rude answers please.
I just need to know.

not really. if you were living with him in some other country where he was stationed,like Germany, he could file the petition directly at the embassy, which would speed things up considerably. But if he's stateside, he'll have to file the petition like anyone else in the US and that will take quite a while to process.
