Bought a used unlocked Impression for my sister to replace the one whose touch screen stopped working. Noticed that the signal strength one the "new" one is not as good with the old Impression she had. So much so that when the SIM card was inserted it didn't fully connect to the AT&T network to allow calls and messages to go out/come in. Took phone to the AT&T store and it connected immediately upon store guy inserting the card. Could make calls and send messages. He commented that the bars looked low and it could be an antenna issue. Left store to run errands and lo and behold, the phone would go in and out of connection to the network. Phone is not under warranty so AT&T won't repair. Only can buy a new phone :| Any solution to this weak signal from the antenna? Those internal antenna boosters any good? Are there outfits that repair/replace mobile parts?
