Of course there would be incentives as well. Couldn't the corporations and the government compromise through terms?
For example, corporations would get tax cuts and lower minimum wage, but cease the influx of overseas employment for 10 years? Would this not solve part of the unemployment?
As we have seen, until the cost of living in foreign countries all match up to the col in the US, companies will continue to develop overseas, despite tax cuts. Repealing these tax cuts won't bring them back certainly, and neither will minimum wage.
but tarrifs wont bring back jobs if the oversea factories already cover the bill.

kitten, very good. However I meant limiting the growth of overseas industries, not elimination. International relations is something to consider though.
Andy: very interesting! I did not consider forceful lower of wages across the board! However, will the government keep it down? Won't other nations eventual exceed our's? I will read up on this.
