My dad works for Precision Tune and the Area Developer and owner of 3 shops in the area is in the hospital and has just taken a turn for the worse. He is in a coma and not expected to live. Today, the office received a phone call from the owner's secretary (I assume) and she told the manager that NO checks will be issued to anyone this week because the owner is in the hospital and only him or his wife can print the checks (she is at the hospital with him).
Now, I'm not being selfish or anything because I understand that the man is in the hospital and not doing good, but can they even do this? My parents live from paycheck to paycheck and they will not be able to pay rent without his check. Is there anything that we can do?
The owner just passed away at 12:00 PM.
