I was all set to buy myself an Amazon Kindle to order and read books on, when I'm told that an iPad will do everything an ebook reader can do, do it better, and do a lot more besides. Well, for a few hundred dollars I would expect so. But when I try to research it myself, I get conflicting data. So, what I want to know is, if I buy an iPad, will it do the extra things I would need it to do to justify the expense? Will it...
a) Enable me to download and read all the books I want to?
b) Play the .wmp music files I would want to copy from my Dell PC on Windows?
c) Show the web content I want to see? For example, I have a few favorite videos on YouTube, but I understand Apple products balk at showing content requiring Flash.
I'm specifically interested in answers from current iPad owners who can do or have tried to do any of the above. Best Answer to the most well-thought-out and verifiable answer within the week. Thank you.
