Can the Alltel LG Tritan be used on the Verizon Network?

My friend told me the LG Tritan can be used on Verizon sense apparently Alltel works with Verizon. I dont think the Tritans ESN is on Verizons list. But I have one for Alltel, I have Verizon. If it can be activated on Verizon I'd like to use it. If its possible? If so can I get a how-to for my online account, or over the phone? If I have to resort to going into the Verizon store I will as well. Thanks
