My partner was diagnosed with testicular cancer 11 weeks ago. He had the testicle removed on the same day as diagnosis was made, and has had a CT scan and abdominal x-ray since then. Over the last couple of days he has complained of the remaining testicle feeling hard and sore. He has tried getting in touch with his germ cell specialist with no joy, and his GP cant see him for another week. I am terrified that the cancer has returned, but is this possible so soon after surgery and clear CT scans? I have tried to google this, but have been unable to find any useful information.
Can testicular cancer return to the remaining testicle?
