I have T-Mobile, and have a Samsung SGH-T429, and it recently has been having issues. The scrolling buttons and a few others have stopped working, therefore, I cant get to my inbox, contacts, pictures, etc. and basically cant navigate through my phone at all. Other than that, everything is fine. I can dial, send, and receive calls, but cant use any other features. It is just a nuisance having to deal with it, and I want to get a new phone. I have had mine for almost 3 years anyway, so I guess it has just met its end. But I am worried that I will lose all of my media files like music, pictures, notes, and contacts. I would be extremely disappointed to lose them, and my pictures and contacts are very important. I was wondering if the company would be able to retrieve my files from my phone, and transfer them to my new one once I get it. I figure since the internal structure of the phone isn't damaged, and it still holds all of the files, someone would be able to retrieve them. But I am apprehensive about the whole thing. I also wouldn't really be able to afford to pay for any extra work on it, and hope they wouldn't charge for something like this. Any help??
