can subutex doctors prescribe methadone

Hi Chris,

Here in Canada, a doctor who prescribes Subutex (Suboxone) can also prescribe Methadone. When a doctor here takes the course to be certified, it is for both Sub and Methadone.

How are you?? I would like to let u know that i was on suboxone which is pretty much the same as subutex. The answer to ur question is YES ur pdoc or doc can certainly prescribe METHADONE aswell. I changed from the suboxone to the methadone very easily,the next prob will be getting off the methadone as it's much harder to get off!!! Hope this helps you.
