Recently moved into a house and had an electrician install ceiling fan. While here he took a look at my circuit breaker panel and advised that it was a Square D panel but that some Siemens circuit breakers were installed in it. He advised that I should get all the Siemens breakers replaced with Square D breakers. Is this necessary? If they are the proper size, does it matter that I have two different manufacturers' breakers in my panel?
Can Square D and Siemens circuit breakers be safely used in same panel?
